"Captivating Cantaloupe" Fancy Fruit Collection 10"x10" (framed)

Captivating Cantaloupe is one of the six paintings in my Fancy Fruit collection. Each 10"x10" oil painting features colorful and richly patterned backgrounds and dishes with a variety of fruit.

It took some work, but I found a melon that was tasty and just right. Cantaloupe is one of those fruits that is best when picked when ripe from the vine. Pieces from my own collection of flea market inspired Pioneer Woman dishes, vintage glass and colorful patterned aprons and tea towels were used along with the fruit to set up a still life for each painting.
