"Fanciful Figs" Fancy Fruit Collection - 10"x10" (framed)

Fanciful Figs is one of the six paintings in my Fancy Fruit collection. Each 10"x10" oil painting features colorful and richly patterned backgrounds and dishes with a variety of fruit.

The figs were the first piece in this series and I had so much fun painting them, I decided to do more! It was also the first time I had tried fresh figs. Pieces from my own collection of flea market inspired Pioneer Woman dishes, vintage glass and colorful patterned aprons and tea towels were used along with the fruit to set up a still life for each painting.
