"Primrose in the Kitchen" 10"x10" (framed)

$375.00

“Primrose in the Kitchen” perfectly captures the dainty, colorful petals of this primrose plant sweetly tucked into an old flour sifter. It is an original 10”x10" oil painting on gallery-wrapped canvas.

Every February I love to purchase a little primrose to add a touch of color and spring to my kitchen. When I brought this beauty home, I knew I wanted to paint it. I looked around my kitchen to decide how to "style" it and thought the vintage flour sifter was a delightful and reflective companion.

**This painting was selected for the 2018 Small Art Show at the Paseo Art Space in Oklahoma City.

This piece is signed on the front and the 1 1/2" sides match the painting.  The painting is framed in a white float frame and is wired and ready to hang.  It comes with a certificate of authenticity.

When my sweet friend and neighbor, @mom2pilotnurse brought me a bouquet of peonies today, I couldn’t resist the urge to paint them! They made my studio smell heavenly! On a side note, I might have also taken a little peony photoshoot, rearrang
Sometimes it is fun to just play. Last Saturday I had some leftover paint, so I whipped up some citrus minis. Where would you display one of these 4x4 originals? I think they’ll look sharp in white floater frames.

Important announcement 📣 My plans for the week have been turned upside down. I was really looking forward to participating in my first Texas art festival this weekend. However because of the horrific tragedy in the community of Allen TX last weekend
