"A Stack of Cheer" Gudrun Sjödén | Cupfull Collection 8x8 Original Oil (framed)

The Cupfull Collection is here! During July I participated in an Instagram painting challenge with cups inspired by a female artist or designer. It was fun to learn about each creative woman and create a cup inspired by their contribution to art and design.

Day 5/6: This painting is a nod to Gudrun Sjödén, the chic, 81-year-old, Swedish fashion and textile designer who obviously loves contrasts, cheery colors and patterns as much as me. Oh. My. Word. I do love her style and aspire to grow old being creative, productive, and joyful! Sjödén founded her delightful women’s apparel and décor company in her name in 1976.

“A Stack of Cheer” is an original 8”x8” oil painting on a canvas panel. This piece is signed on the front. The painting is wired and framed. It comes with a certificate of authenticity.
