23 Winter Trees Study #21 - ART ON A MISSION 5"x7" on Paper

$0.00
Sold Out

In late October my husband and I were at the end of our time away and were set to travel home the next morning from western Colorado back to Oklahoma. We awoke to discover all our routes through the mountains were included in a winter storm. So, after a week of enjoying late fall colors, we got to travel in a snow globe, and I soaked up the inspiration. Here is the 21st in my collection of winter tree oil paintings on paper.

23 TREES | ART ON A MISSIONI am excited to use this winter tree study project to not only practice painting trees and provide affordable art on paper for my clients, but to make an impact way beyond Oklahoma, because I will be donating $23.00 (approx. 33%) of every tree painting sold to Three-Fold Widows Ministry. Several years ago, my dear friend Trish went to Kenya where she met Martha and other widows. Her passion for these women was uncontainable and she and a group of generous women from Owasso, OK started Three-Fold Widows Ministry. Through the efforts of this organization, they are able to provide financial support for the physical needs, business resources and spiritual wellbeing to 23 women.I will be painting 23 trees to represent each of the widows that the ministry supports. I will be launching one or more trees on my website for purchase at 10 am each day until all twenty-three are listed. Follow me on Instagram or Facebook to see the daily paintings, behind the scenes processes and get first dibs. Each painting is created with professional oil paints on paper and is approximately 5”x7” in size with a narrow white border. You can easily matt and frame these yourself by purchasing an 8x10 matt with a 5x7 opening and popping them in a frame of your choice or have it custom framed at a frame shop. The painting shouldn’t be framed in a way that it contacts the glass. Shipping will be $8.00 at checkout.
