"Cheek to Cheek" Parrot Tulip 30"x40" Horizontal Oil Painting (Framed)

Sold Out

The sweet notes of the wind orchestra drifts through the garden as tulips dip and sway to the music of spring. Welcome to the Dancing Among Tulips Collection.

“Cheek to Cheek” is an original 30”x40” oil painting on gallery-wrapped canvas. This one makes me think of that happy satisfaction one might feel after dancing the night away in the prettiest dress at the party with the one you love.

Fred Astaire sang: “I'm in heaven, and my heart beats so that I can hardly speak, and I seem to find the happiness I seek when we're out together dancing cheek to cheek”.

The tulip is one of my favorite flowers and because there are so many varieties and colors, I am constantly in awe when spring arrives. My inspiration for this collection began during a trip to Botanica in Wichita to see them in bloom. The gardens feature a vast collection of tulips attired in an array of glorious ballgowns.

This piece is signed on the front and the 1.5" sides are painted to match the painting. The painting is wired and ready to hang or be framed. It comes with a certificate of authenticity.
