"Echeveria Garden" Succulent Collection 24"x48"

$0.00
Sold Out

Simple. Distinct. Intriguing. Welcome to the Simply Succulent Collection.

“Echeveria Garden” is painted in oil on a large 24” x 48” gallery wrapped canvas. The variety of succulents tucked into this piece creates a calm and peaceful feeling for any space.

The inspiration for this series began while looking through the sunny windows of my studio. The windowsills are the perfect home for my ever-expanding collection of succulents. Their striking forms and textures, array of colors, and easy-care reputation have made them exceedingly popular. These characteristics also made them perfect subjects for painting.

Seeing familiar subjects like plants and flowers from new perspectives is one of the goals of my painting practice. I want to capture shapes, light and shadows while creating harmony with hues and composition, in a way that intrigues the viewer. I hope these sun-loving cheer givers grab your attention and bring a smile to your face.

When my sweet friend and neighbor, @mom2pilotnurse brought me a bouquet of peonies today, I couldn’t resist the urge to paint them! They made my studio smell heavenly! On a side note, I might have also taken a little peony photoshoot, rearrang
Sometimes it is fun to just play. Last Saturday I had some leftover paint, so I whipped up some citrus minis. Where would you display one of these 4x4 originals? I think they’ll look sharp in white floater frames.

Important announcement 📣 My plans for the week have been turned upside down. I was really looking forward to participating in my first Texas art festival this weekend. However because of the horrific tragedy in the community of Allen TX last weekend
